Sheet metal processing technology
When bending, the first step is to determine the cutting tool and groove used based on the dimensions and material thickness on the drawing. Avoiding deformation caused by collision between the product and the cutting tool is the key to selecting the upper mold (different models of upper molds may be used in the same product), and the selection of the lower mold is determined based on the thickness of the sheet metal. The next step is to determine the order of bending. The general rule for bending is to start from the inside and then the outside, from small to large, and from special to ordinary. For workpieces with edges that need to be crushed, first bend the workpiece to 30 ° -40 °, and then use a leveling die to crush the workpiece.
When riveting, it is necessary to consider selecting the same but different molds for the height of the bolts, and then adjust the pressure of the press to ensure that the bolts are flush with the surface of the workpiece, avoiding the bolts not being pressed firmly or being pressed out beyond the surface of the workpiece, which may cause the workpiece to be scrapped.
Welding includes argon arc welding, spot welding, carbon dioxide shielded welding, manual arc welding, etc. Spot welding should first consider the position of the workpiece welding, and in mass production, positioning fixtures should be considered to ensure accurate spot welding positions.
In order to weld firmly, convex points are added to the workpiece to be welded, which can make the convex points evenly contact the flat plate before electric welding, ensuring consistent heating at each point. At the same time, the welding position can be determined. Similarly, when welding, the pre pressing time, holding time, maintenance time, and rest time should be adjusted to ensure that the workpiece can be spot welded firmly.
After spot welding, welding scars will appear on the surface of the workpiece, which needs to be treated with a flat grinder. Sub arc welding is mainly used when two workpieces are large and need to be connected together, or when treating the edges and corners of one workpiece, to achieve a flat and smooth surface of the workpiece. The heat generated during argon arc welding can easily cause deformation of the workpiece. After welding, it is necessary to use a polishing machine and a flat grinder for treatment, especially in terms of edges and corners.
